it has taken me till now to actually register and contribute.

(actually i did register with a different name in the beginning but never commented).. i am a pimo elder with a fairly long history of senior "positions" in the organization.

chapter 31. murder suicide and death at the big house.

the people at bethel were killing us spiritually and sometimes they killed us physically too.. many of the old timers were in the infirmary laying there just waiting to die of natural causes.

some had served there for over fifty years.

Just A Thought Regarding The Bunker Video

as ridiculous as the bunker video was, a few things popped into my consciousness as i was riding the train today.

firstly, why did they go to all the expense and effort to not only create a bunker, but to furnish it like a living room complete with coffee table, armchair, shelves etc?

i mean, a bunker should be a bunker... boxes of tinned food, tools, medical supplies, emergency gear etc.

my mom just texted to tell me she stopped in anniston alabama with my two daughters to eat some supper before coming home from my cousins house.

i can never think of anniston alabama anymore without thinking of ray franz and all that he went through, and how very close i was to being in the same placiue he was at the same time and i didn't even know it .

It's about 30 miles south of Gadsden. Yeah, I know 2 of the JC members who DF him. When I gave Public Talks in the 90's down that way, I would hear first hand accounts from those who had experiences related to Ray Franz, Willie Anderson, Felix and Earl Parnell, Theotis French, Bobby Rogers and others.

For Christians: What do you think about an Armagedon and the Afterlife

i don't mean for anyone to get into argument over this, i just want to hear what people believe.i hope that no one will mock or argue with someone else about their beliefs, i know that i won't in this topic.. i still believe in a christian god, not what jws believe, but believe that there has to be something after this life.

i am not sure about how armageddon would go, would it be like how evangelicals believe with a rapture or timing or anything, though i still believe in a form of armageddon.

i do think that all good people will go to heaven but i don't believe in a hell.
